Carla Zampatti Runway 2026: Reflections at Australian Fashion Week
On Monday 11 May, the opening night of Australian Fashion Week, Edward Meller returned as the official footwear partner of the Carla Zampatti runway for the third consecutive year.
Set against the iconic boardwalk at Park Hyatt Sydney, the show unfolded across two moments — an industry presentation followed by a consumer show — bringing together fashion, community and a shared appreciation for modern occasion dressing.

Titled Reflections, the collection explored the evolving identity of the Carla Zampatti woman — confident, refined and effortlessly modern. This season’s runway was a study in contrast and continuity, balancing timeless tailoring with fluid silhouettes and elevated evening wear.
For Edward Meller, the runway presented an opportunity to translate this vision through footwear. A curated selection of pumps, sandals and boots grounded each look, designed not only to complement the collection, but to enhance the way it moves and is worn.
The runway’s standout moments came through in rich, saturated tones — with the VALENTINA100 Bordeaux Boots and deep WALTZ110 Eggplant Suede Sandals emerging as defining elements. Both bold yet refined, these styles captured the mood of the collection, bringing depth, texture and a modern edge to occasion dressing.
From sculptural heelsto understated, refined silhouettes, each style was chosen with intention — reflecting our ongoing commitment to fit, comfort and considered design. These are shoes created not just for the runway, but for real moments: weddings, events, and the everyday occasions that call for something elevated.
As the lights came up on opening night, Reflections marked another chapter in our ongoing partnership — one built on a shared dedication to craftsmanship, modern elegance and the art of dressing well.
